Tyler was born in Fort Collins, Colorado but has lived in Texas the majority of his life. After finishing high school in Cypress, Texas, Tyler attended college at the University of Texas at Austin. Upon completion of his Electrical Engineering degree, Tyler moved to Dallas for a few years before deciding to relocate back to Houston. On their first date, Tyler joked about getting Stephanie anything she wanted for dinner including the baby seal. Jokingly, Stephanie let the waiter know she was disappointed that they didn't have the baby seal to which the waiter hurriedly rushed back to the kitchen to right the situation. It was in that moment, Tyler knew he had found someone exceptionally special.

Stephanie was born and raised in Houston. She graduated from the University of Houston with a dual degree in Advertising and Spanish. Stephanie and Tyler met on the night preceding the Memorial Day Flood (also known as the Tax Day Flood) in April of 2016, and it was that night when she realized the connection made between the two of them was something epic. Stephanie and Tyler have been together ever since.

Ethan was born in April of 2021 and has been Tyler and Stephanie's world ever since!
